Morden Road will be one way from Monday 12th October 2015. The works are starting 12 October and are anticipated to take 11 weeks to complete!

Ravensbury Residents Association haven’t been informed of these works but we did notice the yellow sign on Morden Road. Expect a degree of chaos on Monday for 11 weeks.

A239 Morden Road, Mitcham – Gas Mains Replacement

Due to gas mains replacement works a single lane closure will be installed and traffic heading southbound will be on diversion.

Access to Morden Road will be maintained for residents, the road will be closed to all other vehicles between the junctions of A297 Morden Hall Road and Deer Park Gardens, the diversion route for LGV and HGV’s will be A297 St Helier Avenue, Rose Hill Roundabout and A217 Bishopsford Road. For local traffic and lights vehicles the diversion will be A297 St Helier Avenue, Middleton Road and Bishopsford Road.

The works are starting 12 October and are anticipated to take 11 weeks to complete.
